Consultant – Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Materials & Content Development

Islamabad, Pakistan

Location : Remote job preferably from Islamabad

Education: Master’s degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Public Health, or related field .

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IEC/BCC material development in SRHR, MHD, or gender-focused projects.

Job Description

  • Needs Assessment & Content Planning
    • Develop print and digital IEC materials (posters, brochures, infographics, flip charts, training modules, short videos, and social media content).
    • Ensure materials are culturally sensitive, gender-transformative, inclusive, and easy-to-understand for diverse groups, including marginalized populations.
    • Highlight the nexus of MHD, climate change resilience, digital awareness, and SRHR advocacy.
  • Campaign lead
    • Develop the material as per the decided theme for communication campaign
    • Support in digital campaign content creation for awareness drives.
  • Capacity Building & Training Support
    • Provide orientation to project staff, youth ambassadors, and disaster management workers on effective use of IEC materials.
Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in developing inclusive, feminist, and youth-friendly communication products.
  • Familiarity with climate change, humanitarian response, and digital advocacy.
  • Strong writing, visualization, and communication skills (Urdu & English).
  • Ability to work with graphic design tools and social media platforms (desirable).
