Visit Health is expanding its clinical leadership team across Bangalore. We are looking for a Consultant – Internal Medicine who can combine strong OPD clinical expertise with administrative and operational leadership within a corporate multispecialty setup.

Role Overview

This position is ideal for a seasoned physician who is comfortable managing high-volume OPD practice while also contributing to clinical governance, SOP development, teleconsultation frameworks, and doctor training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical (Primary Focus – OPD Based):

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations (history, examination, and investigations).
• Interpret laboratory and imaging reports with clinical precision.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor outcomes and modify treatment protocols appropriately.
• Coordinate referrals to subspecialists where indicated.
• Counsel patients on preventive health, lifestyle modification, and long-term disease management.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant medical documentation.
• Ensure statutory compliance, including medico-legal documentation and reporting of notifiable diseases.

Administrative & Strategic:

• Develop and standardize clinical SOPs across centers.
• Lead doctor training sessions and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to teleconsultation protocols and digital care pathways.
• Support clinical audit processes and governance structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications:

• MBBS from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / erstwhile MCI.
• MD (General Medicine / Internal Medicine) OR DNB (General Medicine) – equivalent for clinical practice in India.

Licensing & Registration:

• Valid and permanent registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC).
• MD/DNB registered as an Additional Qualification with KMC or NMC.
• Registration compliant with renewal norms under the Karnataka Medical Registration Act.

Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years post-MD/DNB experience.
• Prior experience in corporate hospitals or multispecialty clinic settings preferred.
• Exposure to telemedicine platforms, SOP drafting, or clinical operations management will be an added advantage.
