Job Title: Consultant Nephrologist

Department: Nephrology

Location: Vedansh Superspeciality Hospital, Dadri

Reports To: Medical Superintendent / Director – Medical Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Nephrologist to join our hospital’s specialist team. The ideal doctor will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with kidney-related diseases, dialysis requirements, and related complications. The role involves both OPD and IPD patient management, clinical leadership, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation and treatment for patients with kidney disorders and hypertension.
  • Oversee and manage dialysis units, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services.
  • Supervise junior doctors, RMOs, and nursing staff in nephrology-related procedures and care.
  • Conduct daily ward rounds for nephrology inpatients and provide timely updates to the team.
  • Participate in hospital case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs.
  • Guide and counsel patients and families regarding kidney disease management and prevention.
  • Support the development of hospital nephrology services and dialysis facilities.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and ICU for co-managed cases.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and patient safety norms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MBBS + MD (Medicine) + DM / DNB (Nephrology) from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-DM/DNB experience as a Consultant Nephrologist in a reputed hospital.
  • Registration: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic ability in renal medicine.
  • Proficiency in dialysis management and renal replacement therapies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a clinical team.
  • Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient-centered care.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time / Part-time (as per hospital requirement)
  • OPD, IPD, and emergency coverage as scheduled

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
