Consultant Neuroradiologist

Woodston Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Neuroradiologist to join our client’s hospital team.
The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology services, contributing to the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders across a diverse patient population. This role involves close collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery, and other multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report advanced neuroimaging studies, including MRI, CT, and angiographic examinations of the brain, spine, and head & neck.
  • Perform and/or supervise interventional neuroradiology procedures where applicable.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, including neurology, neurosurgery, stroke, and oncology boards.
  • Provide clinical guidance and consultation to referring physicians.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with departmental and national standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols and service improvements.
  • Supervise and train radiology trainees, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in on-call rota as required.
  • Engage in clinical audit, quality assurance, and governance activities.
  • Maintain compliance with professional, regulatory, and safety standards.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience in advanced neuroimaging techniques (e.g., functional MRI, perfusion imaging, diffusion tensor imaging).
  • Academic or research involvement with publications in neuroradiology.
  • Teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Leadership or service development experience.

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain

Must have at least 3-5 years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience

Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
