We are seeking a dedicated Consultant or Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this essential position, you will have the responsibility of assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. Your clinical expertise will play a crucial role in developing effective treatment plans and improving the overall quality of life for our patients. In this role, you will utilize both pharmacological and interventional strategies to deliver comprehensive pain management. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be key, ensuring that patients receive holistic care tailored to their individual needs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments of patients presenting with pain related issues.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate various pain management techniques.
  • Administer interventional pain management procedures, including injections and nerve blocks, as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on pain management options and self care practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications
  • D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical institution.
  • Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related specialty area.
  • Current and valid medical license to practice.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Pain Medicine or a similar clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in interventional pain management techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills in clinical decision making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.
  • A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in the field of Pain Medicine.
