Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist

We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to join one of the hospitals in UAE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for diagnosing, managing, and treating hormonal disorders and endocrine diseases in children. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment dedicated to delivering specialized pediatric endocrine care and improving the health outcomes of young patients. As a Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and education for patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric endocrine disorders including diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid diseases, and adrenal gland disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress regularly to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about endocrine conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments to support disease management.
  • Participate in pediatric endocrine research activities, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in pediatric endocrinology.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff within the department.

Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure for practicing pediatric endocrinology.
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist or equivalent role.
  • Proven expertise in managing a wide range of pediatric endocrine disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care focused on children’s unique needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.
