Job Title: Consultant Physician – Anesthesia

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Consultant Physician in Anesthesia for a government healthcare facility located in the Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care across a range of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for various surgical and medical procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any complications
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, international standards, and best practices
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff when required
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Anesthesiology
• DOH License or Eligibility as a Consultant in Anesthesia
• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Consultant Anesthesiologist
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:

• Experience in a government or tertiary healthcare setting
