A prestigious government healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Physician – Fetal Maternal Medicine to join its advanced Maternal-Fetal Medicine Unit (FMU).

This senior-level position involves providing expert care to high-risk pregnancies, managing complex maternal and fetal conditions, and contributing to clinical excellence in a state-of-the-art tertiary hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care in maternal-fetal medicine, focusing on high-risk pregnancies
• Perform advanced fetal assessments, screenings, and interventions
• Collaborate with obstetrics, neonatology, and pediatric teams for comprehensive care
• Lead multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and protocol development
• Mentor junior physicians and contribute to continuous professional development
• Support teaching and research initiatives within the department

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Fellowship / Board Certification in Fetal Maternal Medicine / Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Valid DOH License or DOH Exam Pass (Abu Dhabi)
• Dataflow completed (Tier 1 preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years Consultant-level experience in maternal-fetal medicine
• Strong expertise in high-risk pregnancy management, fetal imaging, and prenatal interventions
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
