A prestigious government healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking to appoint a highly accomplished Consultant Physician – Neonatology to join its advanced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

This senior-level position offers the opportunity to practice within a state-of-the-art tertiary care environment, delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to premature and critically ill newborns while contributing to clinical excellence, quality improvement, and service development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level leadership in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Manage complex neonatal cases, including extreme prematurity and critical conditions
• Lead neonatal resuscitation and advanced life support interventions
• Collaborate with obstetrics, pediatric subspecialties, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in clinical governance, policy development, and quality initiatives
• Support teaching, mentoring, and continuous professional development

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Neonatology (Tier 1 preferred)
• Valid DOH License or DOH Exam Pass (Abu Dhabi)
• Dataflow completed
• Minimum 3–5 years of Consultant-level experience in a tertiary NICU
• Strong leadership and academic orientation preferred
