Location: Al Ain

A leading healthcare institution in the Al Ain Region, Abu Dhabi, is seeking to appoint a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Physician – Otolaryngology (Pediatrics) to join its specialized surgical and pediatric services team.

Applicants must be willing to work and relocate to Al Ain Region.

This senior-level position is ideal for a Consultant with advanced expertise in Pediatric ENT who is committed to delivering excellence in surgical care, clinical leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Role Summary

The Consultant Physician will provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical management of ear, nose, and throat conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents. The role also involves contributing to service development, clinical governance, and mentoring junior medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric ENT disorders
• Perform advanced pediatric otolaryngology surgical procedures
• Manage airway disorders, congenital anomalies, hearing impairments, and ENT infections
• Collaborate closely with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, speech therapists, and audiologists
• Provide expert consultation and second opinions within the hospital
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and residents
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance
• Maintain compliance with DOH regulations and hospital policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent recognized medical degree
• Completion of accredited residency training in Otolaryngology
• Fellowship/Subspecialty certification in Pediatric Otolaryngology preferred
• Tier 1 qualification (Western Board / UK CCT / American Board / equivalent) preferred
• Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter (Abu Dhabi)
• Dataflow verification completed
• Minimum 5–7 years post-board experience at Consultant level
• Strong surgical expertise and multidisciplinary leadership skills
