A leading government healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Specialist Physician – Pediatric Critical Care (PCCU) to join its advanced Pediatric Critical Care Unit.

This role offers the opportunity to manage critically ill pediatric patients within a state-of-the-art tertiary care setting, working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to clinical excellence and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist-level care in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Manage critically ill infants and children requiring advanced life support
• Perform and supervise pediatric resuscitation and stabilization
• Oversee ventilatory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical interventions
• Collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialties and surgical teams
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and safety initiatives
• Support junior physicians and contribute to teaching activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Specialty Certification / Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care
• Valid DOH License or DOH Exam Pass (Abu Dhabi)
• Dataflow completed
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a tertiary Pediatric ICU/PCCU setting
• Strong expertise in mechanical ventilation, sepsis management, and pediatric trauma care
