We are currently seeking a highly qualified Consultant Physician – Urology (Uro-Oncology) to join a prestigious government healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing complex urological conditions, particularly urologic cancers, while providing the highest standard of patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of urological conditions with a focus on uro-oncology cases.
• Evaluate and treat cancers of the urinary tract, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers.
• Perform advanced urological and oncological surgical procedures when required.
• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging, biopsies, and laboratory investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including surgical, medical, and multidisciplinary oncology care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive cancer management.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and medical staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Urology.
• Subspecialty training or strong experience in Uro-Oncology is highly preferred.
• Eligible for DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) Consultant License.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience at consultant level.
• Strong surgical expertise and experience managing complex oncological cases.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
