Introduction:

Clifton Medical Services (CMS) is part of the Aga Khan University Hospital's Outreach Medical Centres, designed to conveniently provide quality healthcare services to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, closer to where they live and work. CMS offers 24/7 Emergency Services for patients of all ages who need emergency medical attention. When patients require admission, they can be directly transferred to in-patient units located at Stadium Road Campus through a well-equipped ambulance accompanied by qualified staff. Our wide range of multi-specialty clinics for men, women, and children of all ages are designed to meet the needs and demands of patients based on their health status and lifestyle. CMS also has state-of-the-art Daycare Chemotherapy and Dialysis units, where patients receive compassionate care, treatment, and services from highly qualified, trained, and experienced doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff. When the doctor requests laboratory tests or clinical imaging (e.g. X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan, Mammogram & OPG scan), the patient can get it done at CMS. For all prescriptions, patients can pick up their medicines from our pharmacy, also conveniently located at CMS.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

• You will have an independent consultant status for patient care.
• You will also be expected to primarily provide services in general radiology and ultrasound. And/or in Mammography services on a need basis.
• You will be required to perform radiological clinical reporting sessions and procedures as defined in the monthly duty roster or as advised from time to time from the Chair or his/her designee.
• In Professional service, managing both common and unfamiliar problems with such proficiency as to be accepted by peers for consultation.
• Review ultrasound requests, interpret diagnostic images, perform ultrasound procedures and report.
• Participate in off time and off days ultrasound clinics.
• Be available for providing services to all of the Aga Khan Hospital centers/clinics/hospitals in Karachi as and when required.
• Lead with exemplary professionalism, maintain high standards of medical care through evidence-based practice, teach residents according to departmental training initiatives, and continuously improve clinical care through continuous learning.

Requirements:

You should have:

• FCPS in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Experience or Fellowship in Body Imaging / Women imaging will be preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills
• Ability to provide patient care in a diverse setting.
• Excellent teaching training and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to satisfy and retain patients in clinical practice.
• Ability to empathize with patients.
• Ability to work in teams.
