This position is perfect for a dedicated dental professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care to children in a friendly and nurturing environment.

As a Consultant / Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. Your role will include developing customized treatment plans, performing various dental procedures, and engaging with families to promote excellent oral health practices. You will play a critical role in ensuring that children have positive dental experiences and learn the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose oral health issues specific to pediatric patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment of each child's needs.
  • Perform dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and minor surgical treatments.
  • Administer fluoride treatments and sealants.
  • Provide education to children and their families about proper oral hygiene and nutrition.
  • Monitor dental and orthodontic development among young patients.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay informed of advancements in pediatric dentistry through continued education and training.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
  • Completion of a residency program in Pediatric Dentistry with board certification.
  • Current and valid dental license.
  • Clinical experience in pediatric dentistry with a focus on diagnosing and treating dental conditions.
  • Understanding of child psychology and behavior management in a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families.
  • Ability to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for young patients.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in pediatric dentistry.
