Requirements, Skills & Competencies


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in business development, preferably in the electrical, construction, or infrastructure industry.
  • Prior experience in working with specifiers, consultants, architects, and developers is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of electrical products and solutions (e.g., cables, wires, lighting, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and lead management systems.
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for engaging with internal teams and external partners.

Relationship Building with Key Influencers

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with top specifiers, electrical consultants, architects, and developers

  • Initiate and schedule meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in external engagements.


Lead Generation & Project Identification

  • Identify new projects and generate qualified leads.
  • Ensure brand approvals in key projects.

  • Approve lead qualification criteria.
  • Recommend projects for strategic focus.


Event Participation & Coordination

  • - Participate in national/local events, seminars, and exhibitions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for successful execution.

  • - Approve event participation plans.
  • Liaise with event organizers and internal stakeholders.


Demand Generation Activities

  • Organize specifier connect events (seminars, webinars, factory visits).
  • Drive influencer management programs with 100% participation.
  • Plan and execute factory visits and foreign travel for key specifiers.

  • - Approve event formats and guest lists.
  • Recommend budget for influencer programs.
