Consulting Member of Technical Staff (IC5)

As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff , you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Health applications. This will allow a patient to get point of care from anyone, anywhere or any device by providing the practitioner medical information leveraging global data.

• Experience : 10+ years of professional experience in front-end/UI development, with a strong focus on large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
• Technical Skills :
  • Proficient in Java, C# or similar object-oriented languages for building robust backend systems.
  • Hands-on full stack development experience with cloud-native development on major cloud platfroms (OCI, Azure, GCP, AWS) is essential.
  • Expertise in frontend Javascript development. React or Preact is a plus.
  • Expertise in Java service development. Micronaut service development framework experience is a plus.
  • Strong design skills for building secure, highly scalable, and extensive systems.
  • String software engineering fundamentals, including expertise in data structures, algorithms, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Tooling : Hands-on experience with development tools such as Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, and version control systems like Git.
• Leadership : Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams, mentor others, and drive technical decisions.
• Problem Solving : Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex technical challenges.
• Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for UI deployment and monitoring.
• Strong communication skills, including cross-team collaboration
• Ability to deliver basic functionality and iterate
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Knowledge of healthcare and experience delivering healthcare applications are significant plus.

• Development and Architectural Leadership : Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance system and services build on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Technical Expertise : Act as the go-to expert for architecture, design patterns, and best practices, ensuring the delivery of robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Collaboration : Work closely with UX designers, product managers, backend developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
• Code Quality and Standards : Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Mentorship : Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Innovation : Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends and technologies, and lead initiatives to integrate them into the development process.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize UI components for maximum performance across a range of devices and browsers.
• Tooling and Automation : Define and implement development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks to improve development efficiency and reliability.
