Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Assistant Chief Clinical Psychologist of CONREP Operations, the Consulting Psychologist has overall responsibility for the clinical and policy/procedure oversight of the Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) CONREP Community Outpatient Treatment program. The incumbent also serves as primary advisor to the Assistant Chief Psychologist to facilitate contract monitoring, program effectiveness, and continued development of statewide ancillary sex offender specialty service contracts.
Working Conditions
- The majority of this position may be performed via telework from any county and/or flexible scheduling in accordance with DSH PD 5338. Although the ability may be granted, incumbent must be available to report to in-person mandated trainings and essential meetings.
- The State’s Commute Programs provide bicycle, mass transit and vanpool incentives to eligible state employees. The State’s mass transit incentive pays 100% of the transit pass up to the IRS maximum of $325 per month in 2025.
- Travel is required approximately up to 10% of the time.
- DSH-Sacramento is located at an 11-floor high rise building.

- Clinical experience with forensic mental health populations
