Container Trading

• Buy, sell, lease, and trade shipping containers including 20FT, 40FT, 40HC, reefer containers, and special equipment.
• Identify potential customers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, traders, leasing companies, and container users.
• Generate new sales leads through calls, emails, visits, networking, and market research.
• Negotiate container prices, leasing terms, delivery terms, and payment terms with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with container depots, shipping lines, transporters, and leasing companies.
• Check container availability, condition, location, and pricing before offering to customers.
• Coordinate with operations team for container inspection, release, delivery, and handover.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, delivery orders, and related shipping/container documents.
• Follow up on payments and ensure timely collection from customers.
• Monitor container market rates, demand, supply, and competitor pricing.
• Maintain records of container stock, sales, purchases, leases, and customer pipeline.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company policy and applicable shipping/logistics requirements.
• Handle customer complaints related to container condition, delivery delays, or documentation issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in container trading, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, NVOCC, or container leasing is preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping containers, container conditions, depot procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to deal with customers, suppliers, depots, and transporters professionally.
• Good understanding of container types, sizes, locations, and market pricing.
• Ability to work under targets and manage multiple enquiries at the same time.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of Excel, CRM, or logistics software is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred.

Pay: Rs3,000.00 - Rs6,000.00 per month
