Container Trading In charge

Container Trading & Commercial

• Buy and sell new and used dry containers (20GP, 40GP, 40HC)
• Manage container leasing (short-term / long-term) contracts
• Negotiate purchase, sale, and lease rates with suppliers and customers
• Monitor global container market trends, pricing, and demand-supply
• Maximize container utilization and trading margins

Inventory & Asset Management

• Maintain accurate container inventory by location, condition, and availability
• Coordinate container repositioning between depots and ports
• Monitor repair, survey, and grading of containers
• Ensure containers comply with CSC, IICL, and shipping standards

Operations & Coordination

• Liaise with depots, transporters, surveyors, and operations teams
• Oversee gate-in/gate-out, repair approvals, and container releases
• Coordinate with finance for invoicing, cost control, and outstanding payments

Reporting & Control

• Prepare weekly and monthly trading reports (profitability, utilization, aging stock)
• Track container lifecycle costs and resale value
• Ensure compliance with company policies and risk controls
