About the Role

The Content & Community Specialist is a hands-on content maker who captures and produces on-brand visual content across Bestop, Softopper, and Tuffy. This role supports launches, campaigns, ecommerce, and Sales-led events by delivering ready-to-use photo and video assets. You will also monitor key enthusiast communities and bring back structured insights, questions, and stories that help Brand Managers sharpen messaging and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and produce visual content (photo and short-form video) for use across ecommerce, paid media, lifecycle, and trade surfaces.
  • Edit and package assets into channel-ready deliverables (cropped, formatted, and organized for reuse).
  • Support launches and campaigns with field content that demonstrates product benefits, installs, before/after, and real-world use.
  • Support Sales-led events with marketing assets, including event-specific content kits (product photos, short videos, recap assets, and simple booth visuals in partnership with the Visual Creative Lead).
  • Monitor and actively engage with key forums, groups, and online communities including posting, responding, and participating in conversations while capturing Voice of Customer signals (questions, objections, sentiment, feature requests).
  • Deliver a consistent community and content readout to Brand Managers, highlighting what people are asking, what is resonating, and what content is needed next.
  • Maintain an organized, searchable asset library by brand, product, and use case so the team can repurpose content quickly.
  • Follow creative standards, templates, and visual guidelines set by the Visual Creative Lead.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of proven experience in photography, videography, and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to capture compelling photo and video content in the field, including product installs, real-world use, and event settings.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including experience maintaining a structured digital asset library.
  • A creative, detail-oriented mindset and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • A genuine passion for the automotive aftermarket and outdoor lifestyle.

Work Arrangement: In-Office & Hybrid

This role is based at our Westminster, CO headquarters to facilitate direct collaboration with our Brand Managers and Visual Creative Lead.

  • Schedule: This is primarily an in-office position.
  • Hybrid Flexibility: Once onboarding is complete, you may be eligible for up to one (1) day per week of remote work, subject to manager discretion and the needs of our production and event schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

Hiring Range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year. Final compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education, and skills.

  • Essential Functions: This role requires the ability to perform field-based content capture, which includes operating professional camera equipment in various outdoor environments.
