Content Creator

Our Pharma client is seeking a Content Creator to join their team for the next 6 months, 40 hours/week. This role is fully onsite 5 days a week in Alameda, CA. 

Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and versatile Content Creator to create engaging, on-brand visual content for social channels. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day content production while working closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, and creative leads. This position is ideal for someone with strong design fundamentals, experience producing social-first content, and a passion for staying ahead of digital trends.

Top Must Have Skills

Strong design fundamentals including typography, layout, and visual storytelling
Expertise in social-first content creation across multiple platforms
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma
Ability to create motion graphics, short-form videos, and platform-native content
Strong portfolio showcasing social media design and video/motion work
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Additional Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of experience in social media design, digital design, or content creation
Knowledge of social media best practices, platform behaviors, and performance drivers
Ability to take creative direction and also contribute original ideas
Familiarity with paid social creative requirements and optimization
Experience partnering with copywriters, strategists, or community managers
Interest in digital trends, pop culture, and evolving platform innovations


Responsibilities

Design high-quality social content including static graphics, carousels, stories, reels, thumbnails, and paid social ads
Translate brand guidelines into visually compelling assets tailored for each platform
Contribute creative ideas to campaigns, content calendars, and organic or paid initiatives
Produce short-form videos and motion graphics using platform-native tools or editing software
Maintain consistency across all visual touchpoints while delivering fresh, inventive concepts
Stay current on design trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to inspire content
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure visuals align with messaging and campaign goals

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
