Content Creator

We're Wrangler Air Conditioning. Family-owned, San Antonio-based, honest HVAC done right. We're hiring a dedicated content creator, and we want this to be the best content position in the trades.

What we want to build

A daily, docu-style look at what actually happens at an HVAC company: service calls, tough diagnoses, wins, the crew, the customers, and yes, the owner. Think shop-floor storytelling mixed with behind-the-scenes founder content, cut into a long-form piece for YouTube and a steady stream of short-form for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

Our tone's friendly Texas. Not corporate. Not salesy. Just real.

What you'll own

You're running the whole content operation on day one.

• Riding along with our techs to job sites, shooting real diagnostics, repairs, and installs
• Capturing the owner's day: calls, quotes, management, customer visits, family-business moments
• Editing one daily long-form piece plus 2-5 short-form cut-downs
• Writing hooks, titles, captions, and thumbnail copy that earn the click without being cringe
• Posting and scheduling across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook
• Replying to comments and DMs in our voice, flagging hot leads to the team
• Reviewing analytics, testing new formats, reporting monthly on what's working

You're right for this if

• You've got a reel or portfolio we can watch today
• You can shoot and edit on your own and make it look great
• You understand short-form algorithms and can prove it with numbers
• You know hooks, pacing, captions, and thumbnails cold
• You live in San Antonio or you're willing to move (this role rides along in the field)
• You've got reliable transportation and flexible daytime availability
• You can write. Captions, titles, descriptions, all of it.
• You take direction well and bring your own ideas

Bonus points

• You've built your own audience
• Light motion graphics / text overlay chops
• You're comfortable on camera yourself
• Trades, construction, or service business experience
• You know SEO basics and how to title for search

The setup

• Starts as a 1099 contractor. We pay $2k to $6k/mo based on experience, output, and time you're putting in.
• Prove you can deliver, we move you to a W2 full-time role.
• Bring your own gear. If something's missing (lav mics, truck mount, storage, drone, etc.), we buy it.
• Footage, accounts, and final files stay with Wrangler.
