This role is perfect for anyone who is a free thinker, big dreamer and doesn't like to have their creativity placed in box.

This position will require heavy use of social media and online communication, as well as regular customer contact. We need a social media coordinator to develop our client's online presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The successful candidate will be responsible for running contests, scheduling and manually posting on social platforms strategically, and creating engaging content in small increments to help bring attention to our client's products, update analytics presentation bi-weekly, communicating deiverables to our client's.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the marketing department to get and understanding of the short term and long term marketing targets and then develop content strategies accordingly
  • Creating content which will catch maximum customer interest
  • Capture BTS Content at events hosted by clients
  • Writing and reviewing content for websites, social media pages and public communications
  • Optimize Search Engine Optimization driven content
  • Collaborating with the digital marketing team to decide other promotional material
  • Measuring and monitoring company website and social media traffic statistics
  • Monitor the increase in traffic due to new content and take actions accordingly to improve the traffic metrics
  • Brainstorming and suggesting new ways to improve the traffic by tapping into new platforms and channels
  • Ensure that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws and on brand for each client
  • Maintain consistency in content across all projects and ensure alignment with the brand history and guidelines
  • Identify customers needs in relation to the company and write content to cater those needs
  • Update the website, social media and content pages periodically
  • Conducting research on the key SEO terms and incorporating them into the content to achieve maximum viewership

Required Skills & Work Experience:

  • One or more years of experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role.
  • Bachelors Degree or Currently in school to recieve a degree in Marketing, Pubic Relations, or Journalism
  • Proficient in business posts on social media platforms.
  • Understand SEO and web traffic data.
  • Experience researching buyer and consumer persona.
  • Understand social media KPIs.
  • Familiar with web copywriting.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Critical thinker and a proactive problem-solver.
  • Works well with a team of creatives.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Exceptional at communication and building relationships.
  • Graphic design experience in Canva Pro or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in video editing apps such as Cap-Cut or InShot
  • Google Suite Proficient
  • Planoly Proficient

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
