Every piece is handcrafted in our California factory, giving us end-to-end control over how each Floof design is made—down to the last stitch. THE ROLE
This isn’t a sit-at-your-desk-and-schedule-posts kind of role. We need a creative, scrappy, camera-in-hand content creator who wakes up thinking about what to shoot today, spots a trending format and immediately knows how to make it feel like Floof, and can take a pillow from our latest collection and turn it into a scroll-stopping moment—all before lunch. You’ll be the creative engine behind our organic presence, a key contributor to our ad creative, and the person who builds our community from a following into a movement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Create 15–20+ pieces of short-form video content per week for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Pinterest—from concept to filming to editing to posting.
• Develop monthly content themes and shooting schedules. Think beyond individual posts—build creative campaigns that tell stories, surprise our audience, and keep them coming back.
• Dream up fresh, on-brand concepts: styling vignettes in beautiful spaces, behind-the-scenes moments from our atelier, room transformations, trend commentary, seasonal stories, and the occasional unexpected delight.
• Grow our organic following into a real community. Engage in comments, spark conversations, encourage user-generated content, and make people feel like they’re part of something irresistible.
• Produce ad creative (short-form video and static concepts) that our paid media team can test and scale across Meta and Google.
• Own our affiliate outreach program: find and recruit home décor influencers and lifestyle creators who align with our brand, send product, build relationships, and track what’s working.
• Stay obsessively current on platform trends, viral formats, trending audio, and algorithm shifts. You’re the person who sees it first and knows what to do with it.
• Collaborate with our Senior Graphic Designer to make sure everything you create feels unmistakably Floof—polished, inviting, and a little bit unexpected.
WHAT YOU BRING
• 2–4 years creating content for a consumer brand, personal brand, or as a professional UGC/content creator—ideally in home, lifestyle, fashion, or design.
• A portfolio (or personal social presence) that makes us say “yes, this person gets it.” We want to see scroll-stopping short-form video.
• Proficient in mobile shooting and editing (CapCut, InShot, or similar) and comfortable being behind the camera—or in front of it when the moment calls for it.
• Native fluency in Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. You understand what works on each platform and why.
• A strong creative eye for styling, color, and composition—especially in home and interior spaces.
• You don’t wait to be told what to create. You come with ideas, themes, and a shooting plan. You’re a self-starter who moves fast and owns your work.
• Experience with affiliate or influencer outreach is a wonderful plus.
