The Role

We’re looking for a TikTok-obsessed Summer Intern to help bring Smash Kitchen to life on one of the fastest-moving platforms in culture.

This role is perfect for someone who lives on TikTok, understands internet trends, and loves food, cooking, and creator culture. You’ll work closely with our Senior Manager of Social + Community to create content, engage with fans, and help build Smash Kitchen into one of the most entertaining food brands on TikTok.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation

• Film and edit TikTok videos featuring Smash Kitchen products
• Create trend-driven content using sounds, memes, and native formats
• Help concept and produce short-form videos like cooking demos, POV food moments, and trend adaptations

Community & Culture

• Monitor TikTok comments and DMs
• Engage with fans and creators in the Smash Kitchen voice
• Identify trends and viral moments the brand should jump into

Trend & Creator Research

• Track trending sounds, formats, and emerging food creators
• Flag collaboration opportunities

Who You Are

• Deeply active on TikTok and fluent in internet culture
• Comfortable filming yourself or others on camera
• Fast editor in TikTok, CapCut, or similar tools
• Creative, organized, and excited to experiment

Bonus points if you love cooking or food culture, have your own TikTok presence, or are based in LA for occasional filming.

What You’ll Gain
