FWM Companies builds and installs premium aluminum dock systems across New England and manufactures high-performance aluminum trailers sold direct to consumers nationwide. Our two primary brands — FWM Aluminum Docks & Lifts and Rugged Aluminum Trailers — share a common thread: quality products, real craftsmanship, and work that looks great on camera.

The Role

This is a content-first position. The most important part of this job is capturing what happens here every day — dock builds, installations on the water, trailer production, deliveries, customer reactions — and turning that into short-form video, photography, and social content that builds our brands.

You'll spend real time in the field. That means riding with installation crews to lakefront properties across the Northeast, shooting in our Hudson production facility, and documenting the kind of hands-on work that most people never get to see. If you're someone who wants to sit at a desk and schedule posts all day, this isn't the right fit. Beyond content production, you'll handle day-to-day digital marketing tasks — email campaigns in HubSpot, social media management across platforms, and coordination with our external marketing team at Vital. But content creation is the engine of this role.

What You'll Do

Content Production (Primary Focus)

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content on-site at our Hudson facility and in the field during dock installations throughout the Northeast
  • Produce short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) on a consistent weekly cadence across both brands
  • Edit and package raw footage into platform-native content — behind-the-scenes builds, time-lapses, install walkthroughs, customer stories, product showcases
  • Develop content that speaks to two distinct audiences: waterfront homeowners and property managers (FWM Docks) and truck/trailer buyers nationwide (Rugged Trailers)
  • Build a content library of reusable assets — project photos, product shots, testimonial clips

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Manage and grow social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok for both brands
  • Plan and maintain content calendars that keep both brands active and consistent
  • Design and send email campaigns in HubSpot — seasonal promotions, product launches, customer education
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and inquiries, and build community around each brand
  • Coordinate with our external marketing team (Vital, Portsmouth) on campaign timing and brand alignment
  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategy based on what's working

Who You Are

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience creating content for brands — in-house or freelance
  • Strong video shooting and editing skills (phone and camera; comfortable with tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar)
  • Solid photography skills with an eye for composition
  • Experience managing business social media accounts across multiple platforms
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar email/CRM platform
  • Comfortable in industrial and outdoor environments — docks, water, shop floors, job sites
  • Self-directed and organized enough to manage two brand calendars without constant oversight
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally for field content

Preferred:

  • Experience marketing physical products, especially premium/high-end goods
  • Background in both B2C and B2B content
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Understanding of paid social, SEO basics, and content marketing strategy
  • Familiarity with marine, construction, or manufacturing industries

Location & Details

Based in Hudson, NH. During summer months, you'll travel throughout New England to document installations and occasionally follow our service teams in the field. This is where the best content comes from.

Open to full-time or part-time candidates — the right person matters more than the schedule.

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience. Benefits package included.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
