Content Creator & Social Media Assistant

About the Role

Poi & Hun is an online planner and stationery brand looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our team in-house. This role is perfect for someone who loves content creation, aesthetics, and staying on top of social media trends—especially within the lifestyle, productivity, and small business space.

You’ll work closely with the co-founder to bring our brand to life through engaging content, photoshoots, and creative campaigns.

• Ideal for students or those early in their social media/marketing career
• Looking for someone long-term who is excited about growing with a small business
• Passion for planners, stationery, or productivity content is a big plus

What You’ll Do

• Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (how-tos, product features, lifestyle content)
• Assist in developing and executing short-form video concepts, including trending and small business-style content
• Support and collaborate on photoshoots (studio and occasional offsite locations like cafés)
• Help plan and style shoots: creating mood boards, sourcing props, and organizing setups
• Schedule and manage content across platforms, including Pinterest
• Assist with Facebook Ads content (creative direction, visuals, basic execution)
• Engage with our community by responding to comments and messages
• Research trends and bring fresh, relevant content ideas weekly
• Assist in outreach to creators for gifted collaborations (templates provided)
• Work 1-on-1 with the co-founder on content and campaign planning

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable creating content and being part of content creation (photo/video)
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends
• Strong eye for aesthetics, branding, and visual storytelling
• Basic photography/video skills (iPhone is okay!)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Positive, flexible, and open to feedback
• Interest in small business, e-commerce, or content creation

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Facebook Ads experience
• Video editing (CapCut, Final Cut, etc.)
• Photography experience
