Role Overview

The Content creator will design, develop and deliver educational content for Aarunya’s English Communication Skills Program for children studying in Grade V / VI . This role focuses on creating interactive Power Point presentations for classroom delivery and teacher and student books to support effective teaching.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Design -

- Align content with Aarunya’s learning outcomes, focusing on fluency, comprehension, creative expression, and real-world communication.

Develop themes and modules that integrate storytelling,one minute talks, group discussions, role-play, reading comprehension, etc.

2. Content Development -

- Create student-friendly PowerPoint presentations that are visually engaging, interactive, and aligned with lesson goals.

Develop Teacher’s Manuals (Word) with clear instructions, teaching tips, activity guides, and assessment rubrics.

Prepare Student Manuals (Word) with worksheets, practice tasks, reading passages, and reflection exercises.

3. Pedagogical Alignment -

- Incorporate child-centered, activity-based approaches that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative learning.

- Ensure content fosters confidence in speaking, listening and reading at an advanced primary level.

4. Quality Assurance -

- Review and revise content based on feedback from teachers, trainers, and pilot sessions.

- Ensure clarity, cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and age-appropriateness in all materials.

5. Collaboration & Reporting -

- Work closely with Aarunya’s content team to align with program philosophy.

- Deliver content within agreed timelines, structured module-wise.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.

• Experience:

- At least 2 years of experience in curriculum/content creation for students of English.

- Taught for a minimum of 2 years as a English teacher for high school students.

• Technical Skills: -

- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (interactive design, visuals, animations).

Strong command of MS Word for structured manuals and activity sheets.

• Other Skills: -

- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Strong understanding of child-centered pedagogy.

- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to simplify complex concepts.

- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.

Deliverables

- Module-wise PowerPoint presentations for teachers to use in class.

- Teacher’s Manual (Word): structured lesson plans, facilitation tips, activities, and assessments.

- Student’s Manual (Word): worksheets, reading passages, exercises, and creative tasks.

- Assessment framework (rubrics, checklists, or simple evaluations).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
