Content Producer Job Description

The Marketing department at Mighty Squirrel is in charge of bringing the brand to life through engaging storytelling, creative campaigns, product releases, exciting events, and meaningful community engagement. The Content Producer will play a key role in shaping and conveying Mighty Squirrel’s digital voice and visual identity across all social and marketing channels.
The Content Producer will focus on social media management, content creation, photography/videography, and digital storytelling while also supporting broader marketing initiatives across taproom operations, distribution, events, partnerships, community engagement, brand activations, customer service, and more.
The Content Producer will assist in generating and maintaining the marketing content, initiatives, and responsibilities listed above. We’re looking for someone highly creative, organized, trend-aware, and passionate about producing high-quality content that captures the energy and culture of Mighty Squirrel. The ideal candidate is someone who can think creatively, move quickly, generate fresh ideas, and execute engaging content across multiple platforms while also contributing to larger marketing and event initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Content Production and Social Media Management
Lead the day-to-day management of Mighty Squirrel’s social media channels across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content with a strong focus on short-form video, photography, reels, storytelling, and community engagement.
Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.
Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality photo and video content for beer releases, events, food features, partnerships, taproom promotions, and lifestyle campaigns.
Capture real-time content during events, launches, activations, and day-to-day brewery operations.
Monitor trends, platform updates, and social media best practices to continuously improve engagement and audience growth.
Engage with followers, customers, influencers, and community partners across social platforms in a positive, authentic, and timely manner.
Identify opportunities for influencer collaborations, creator partnerships, and user-generated content campaigns.
Assist in developing social media strategies designed to grow audience reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
Brand Marketing & Creative Support
Promote the company’s products, events, partnerships, and initiatives across all channels.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for new beer releases, seasonal promotions, taproom initiatives, and events.
Support the creation of marketing collateral and POS materials including menus, posters, signage, digital displays, newsletters, and promotional assets.
Write compelling copy in the Mighty Squirrel brand voice for social media, newsletters, website updates, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
Assist with website updates including tap lists, event information, beer descriptions, and imagery.
Events & Community Engagement
Support the planning, promotion, and execution of brewery events, festivals, partnerships, pop-ups, and community activations.
Represent Mighty Squirrel at events and activations when needed.
Help create engaging event content before, during, and after activations to maximize audience engagement and attendance.
Cross-Functional Support
Support taproom marketing initiatives and assist operational teams when needed.
Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and execution across all customer touchpoints.
Assist with additional marketing projects and creative initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has a high degree of energy, and is detail-oriented with an ability to work independently.
Strong passion for social media, digital storytelling, photography, videography, and content creation.
Experience managing brand social media accounts and creating engaging digital content.
Strong photography, video editing, and copywriting skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or modern content creation tools.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging social media trends.
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with a high level of creativity, initiative, and attention to detail.
Passion for craft beer, hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands preferred.
Ability to take feedback, adapt quickly, and collaborate across teams.
Portfolio or examples of previous social media/content work required.

Total compensation (base salary + bonus) from $60,000 - $80,000

About Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co.
Mighty Squirrel was founded by friends and home-brewers, Naveen & Henry. They loved the fun culture of the craft beer industry and the community-centric environment of its taprooms, so they began home brewing and eventually built their first full production brewery and taproom in 2018 in Waltham, where the company brews all of its beer for stores, bars, and restaurants across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Customers can watch the entire beer-making and packaging process from start to finish from the taproom. Mighty Squirrel sits on a beautiful 300-acre park, Beaver Brook, so folks can enjoy a walk, hike, or bike ride before relaxing at the brewery with friends and family. In 2024, Mighty Squirrel opened a taproom and kitchen in the Fenway Neighborhood of Boston at 1 David Ortiz Drive, steps from Fenway Park, and in 2025 it opened a taproom and kitchen in Watertown at Arsenal Yards at 102 Arsenal Yards Boulevard.
