ABOUT US
The Latchlink is a virtual lactation consulting practice providing insurance-covered breastfeeding support to families nationwide. We're a fast-growing team and we need someone to take full ownership of how our brand shows up — on social, in long-form content, and everywhere in between.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Content & Social Media Manager to own our brand presence end-to-end — short-form social, Pinterest, long-form video, podcast production, blog content, UGC, and b-roll. This is not a "schedule posts and report metrics" role. You are building something. You spot the trends, plan the content calendar, direct filming sessions, manage UGC creators, source and organize b-roll, edit the videos, write the blog posts, produce the podcast, design the graphics, write the captions, post the content, and show up for our community — every single day.
If you need to be managed closely, this isn't the role for you. If you're the person who already has ten content ideas before the first meeting, keep reading.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Social Media
- Full creative ownership across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest
- Trend identification — you move fast, you don't schedule a meeting about it
- Weekly content calendar ideation and management
- Directing and coordinating filming sessions with the CEO (in person preferred for local candidates)
- Short-form video editing — Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, Stories — using CapCut or similar
- Carousel and graphic design using Canva or similar tools
- Caption writing across all platforms
- Daily posting and daily Stories
- Community engagement — responding to comments, DMs, and showing up on relevant accounts
UGC Program
- Building and managing a roster of UGC creators — primarily moms — who can create authentic content for the brand on an ongoing basis
- Writing UGC briefs that are clear, on-brand, and get the output we need without hand-holding
- Coordinating timelines, deliverables, and feedback with creators
- Reviewing and approving UGC before it goes anywhere near our feed
- Strategically deploying UGC across organic social, ads, and email as appropriate
- Continuously identifying and recruiting new creators to keep the roster fresh
B-Roll & Content Asset Acquisition
- Owning our b-roll library — knowing what we have, what we need, and what gaps exist
- Planning and directing b-roll capture during CEO filming sessions to make sure we're always stocked
- Sourcing licensed stock footage when needed to supplement original content
- Coordinating with UGC creators to capture specific b-roll assets as part of their briefs
- Keeping the content library organized so raw footage, b-roll, and finished assets are always easy to find and use
Pinterest
- Building and managing a Pinterest presence that drives consistent, evergreen traffic
- Keyword research and SEO-informed pin strategy — you understand that Pinterest is a search engine, not just a mood board
- Designing and scheduling pins that convert — graphics, idea pins, video pins
- Connecting Pinterest content back to blog posts, the podcast, and lead magnets
Long-Form & Podcast
- Podcast episode production from raw recording to published episode — editing, audio cleanup, show notes, and distribution coordination
- Long-form YouTube video editing — tutorials, interviews, educational content
- Blog writing — researching, drafting, and publishing SEO-informed articles that match our brand voice
- Repurposing long-form content into short-form clips, graphics, captions, and pins
Content Operations
- Content library management — raw footage, b-roll, audio files, graphics
- Maintaining an organized system so nothing falls through the cracks
WHO YOU ARE
- You are on social media all day every day and you understand how it actually works — algorithms, trends, timing, engagement
- You are fast. You make the content, then tell us about it
- You are a self-starter who brings the plan — you don't wait to be told what to do
- You can take a brand voice and run with it without daily direction
- You edit video (both short and long-form), produce audio, write blog content, design graphics, and know how to build a Pinterest presence that actually drives traffic
- You understand that Pinterest is its own strategy — keyword-driven, evergreen, and built to convert — and you treat it that way
- You know how to run a UGC program — from writing the brief to managing the creator to deploying the content strategically
- You think in b-roll. You're always planning ahead for what footage we'll need and you never leave a filming session without it
- You thrive in a small, close-knit team environment — you know everyone's name, you care about the mission, and you show up as a real contributor, not just a task-completer
- You see this role as more than a job. You want to grow into a vital part of this company and you're excited by the idea of what that could look like two or three years from now
- You are not intimidated by a fast pace or a full plate — you are energized by it
- You are someone who is always learning, always improving, and genuinely hungry to grow — both in your craft and as a person
- You are genuinely passionate about supporting moms, maternal health, or women's health — this isn't just a niche to you, it's a mission you want to be part of
- You are organized enough to manage multiple content streams and never miss a deadline
- You are based in Florida, ideally in the Sarasota/Bradenton or Tampa Bay area — in-person filming sessions are part of this role
