Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The LinkedIn Knowledge Management Solutions (KMS) team at LinkedIn is responsible for creating and delivering self-service content for LinkedIn’s members, customers and employees. The team creates instructional, procedural, and technical content using both traditional and AI-powered methods. This content is made available externally through LinkedIn's help centers, virtual chat assistants, and in-product experiences, including those driven by AI and generative AI.
As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for creating help content for products that align to the needs of a line of business. You'll be working within a team of Content Strategists to create a data-driven, user-centered content strategy, provide timely help content for feature releases, and interact with product leadership and partners to understand the evolution of the products.
Empowering our internal and external customers with the right content at the right time is our number one priority. The role is dependent on your ability to collaborate with partners and team members across locations to gather the information required to develop relevant and complete content for our help center audiences. You will be working closely with teams including Product Operations, Product Marketing, Legal, and Support to create and define great content experiences for LinkedIn members and customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver accurate and timely content for a line of business with guidance from a senior content strategist and your manager.

Develop high-quality, user-centered content tailored for various delivery channels such as help center, in-product help, chatbots, and virtual assistants as per KMS guidelines and based on inputs from stakeholders.

Score and validate chatbot outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines and industry standards.

Build subject matter expertise for a designated area of work.

Analyze content performance metrics and user feedback to determine health of content and share insights with partners and writers.

Create project plans that are clear, concise, and demonstrate how content can solve challenges of a line of business. Present those plans to partners to establish agreement to see through the plan.

Collaborate, build relationships, and share knowledge with global team members and partners as needed.

Participate in the peer-to-peer review process to improve the quality of content and provide open, honest, and constructive feedback.

Prioritize, resolve, and respond to internal inquiries/cases in a timely fashion.

Demonstrate adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in content strategy, technical writing, knowledge management, or related fields
-
Experience in working with content management systems (any) and authoring tools (any)
-
Experience in methodologies such as DITA, topic-based, authoring, and structured writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in creating and validating content for AI conversational interfaces and familiarity with prompt engineering principles is an advantage

Sound analytical, organizational, and project management skills
-
Proficiency using content authoring tools such as XMetal, Oxygen, is an advantage
-
Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
-
A team player who can develop strong relationships with partner and writing teams

The pay range for this role is
$74,000-$119,000
. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
