<About the Role>
Krunk Cards is a fast-growing live-commerce trading card business selling across Whatnot, eBay Live, and Fanatics Live. The Content Strategist owns the top of the growth funnel. You are responsible for driving organic impressions across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube — the single metric that determines whether more people discover Krunk Cards each week. You set the content strategy, build and manage the content calendar, define output targets, and manage a team of Content Producers who execute daily.
This is a leadership and strategy role, not a production role. You decide what gets made, when it goes out, and how it performs. You build the playbooks your producers follow for product releases, show promotions, and evergreen content. You own the number and you own the plan to hit it.
<What You'll Do>
- Own the Content Team’s L1 metric: organic impressions across all social platforms
- Develop and maintain the content strategy aligned to Krunk Cards’ growth funnel — ensuring content drives awareness that the Marketing Team can convert into traffic and the Stream Team can activate into buyers
- Build, manage, and continuously refine the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube
- Set weekly content output targets for Content Producers and hold them accountable to quality and consistency
- Create repeatable content playbooks for product releases (teaser → unboxing → show clip → recap) so execution is fast and predictable
- Manage and develop Content Producers — assign work, give creative direction, review output, and provide feedback
- Analyze content performance weekly and report findings in the Monday scorecard review, identifying what’s working, what’s not, and what to adjust
- Set quarterly rocks (1–3 priorities) for the Content Team tied to the organic impressions target
- Coordinate cross-team handoffs — decide which content gets repurposed for the Marketing Team’s paid and affiliate channels, which clips support Stream Team show promos, and which assets feed Community Team engagement
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, trending formats, and competitive landscape to keep the content strategy current
- Manage the content asset library and ensure brand consistency across all platforms and formats
- Participate in the weekly L10 meeting, surfacing issues and proposing solutions related to awareness and content performance
<What You Bring>
- 3+ years of experience in social media strategy or content marketing, ideally in e-commerce, live-commerce, or creator-driven brands
- Proven track record of growing organic reach and impressions across Instagram, TikTok, and/or YouTube
- Experience managing content creators or a small creative team — you know how to set targets, give feedback, and get consistent output
- Strong analytical skills — you’re comfortable pulling platform analytics, interpreting trends, and making data-driven calendar decisions
- Deep understanding of platform-specific content strategy (what works on TikTok is different from Instagram is different from YouTube)
- Ability to build systems and playbooks that scale — you think in templates, workflows, and repeatable processes, not one-off ideas
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team coordination and weekly reporting
- Interest in trading cards, sports cards, collectibles, or live-commerce is a strong plus
- Comfort in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where you’ll have real ownership and real accountability
<How Success Is Measured>
You own the organic impressions number. Everything else flows from that. You will be evaluated on:
- Organic impressions growth — week-over-week and quarter-over-quarter trajectory across all platforms
- Content calendar execution — is the team shipping on schedule with no gaps in the posting cadence
- Producer output and quality — are your direct reports hitting their targets and improving over time
- Cross-team impact — is content being successfully repurposed for marketing, stream promotion, and community engagement
- Quarterly rocks — did you hit the 1–3 priorities you set for the quarter
- Scorecard reporting — are you surfacing clear, actionable insights every Monday

- Build something from the ground up — establish the playbooks, hire the team, set the standard
- Work in the trading card and collectibles space — a passionate, high-energy community
