Content Writer

We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Writer to join our Audiobook Department. This role involves working across multiple content formats, with a strong focus on editing, formatting, and preparing books for audiobook production. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent writing and editing skills, and is comfortable handling a variety of publishing-related tasks.

Location : DHA Phase 5, Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing & Formatting: Review and edit manuscripts to ensure clarity, consistency, and correct formatting for audiobook production.
• Audiobook Splitting: Organize and split manuscripts into audiobook-ready sections for smooth narration and production flow.
• Content Writing: Create engaging content for newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and promotional materials.
• Amazon & Platform Content: Write and optimize product descriptions, blurbs, and marketing copy for Amazon and other audiobook platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the audiobook production team to ensure timely and high-quality output.
• Quality Control: Maintain consistency in tone, grammar, and formatting across all written materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in writing, editing, or publishing (audiobook/ebook experience is a plus).
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and style.
• Familiarity with audiobook formatting and publishing processes (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to adapt writing style for different platforms (blogs, newsletters, press releases, Amazon, etc.).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices (a plus).
