Content Writer

RecPro is looking for a talented and motivated Content Writer to join our growing Marketing team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of engaging and unique SEO-friendly written digital content. Content ranges from blogging articles to descriptions for our diverse product range, from screws to furniture, with the potential to include other written content as needed. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with professional or personal writing experience and a willingness to learn about various products and markets. This is a NON-REMOTE writing position based in our office, where you will work closely with marketing team members, including other content writers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating fluent, unique, SEO-friendly written digital content for various platforms, including blogging articles, product descriptions, product catalogs, and website content.
• Perform research on subjects such as products, lifestyle trends, industry trends, company brands, etc., as needed.
• Assist in editing product manuals, website content, and other marketing content as needed.
• Proofread written content for grammar, spelling, tone, style, and SEO best practices before submitting it for final review.
• Work closely with marketing team members to ensure quality and a smooth workflow.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and participate in relevant meetings to improve overall content strategy.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• At least 1 year of professional or personal writing experience (Required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Experience writing SEO-optimized content (Preferred).
• Basic knowledge of SEO (Preferred).
• Experience using digital writing and editing tools, such as Google Docs (Preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new subjects and industries.
• An upbeat, can-do attitude and pleasant to work with.
• Focused and driven, with a desire to grow and expand their potential in the marketing field.
