We are seeking a versatile and creative Content Writer to produce high-quality written content across multiple platforms. This role involves crafting compelling website copy, writing legally-compliant Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies, optimizing content for SEO, generating engaging social media posts, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across all channels. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent writing skills and a solid understanding of digital marketing and compliance writing.
Key Responsibilities:Website Content
- Write and update engaging, user-friendly content for website pages (homepage, about, services, FAQs, etc.).
- Collaborate with design/UX teams to align content with the user journey.
- Ensure content reflects the company’s brand voice and values.
Legal & Policy Writing
- Draft, edit, and maintain clear and accurate Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policies, Cookie Notices, and disclaimers.
- Work with legal advisors or use approved templates to ensure compliance with applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
SEO Content
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices into web pages, blog posts, and metadata.
- Write optimized blog content, landing pages, and product descriptions to drive organic traffic.
- Track and improve content performance using SEO and analytics tools.
Social Media Content
- Create short-form, engaging, and on-brand content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
- Collaborate with the social media team to develop content calendars and campaign themes.
- Write captions, hashtags, and promotional content for brand campaigns and product launches.
Branding & Tone
- Maintain consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all written content.
- Help evolve and enforce brand writing guidelines.
- Ensure all content enhances the company’s image and reputation.
Content Management & Collaboration
- Manage and organize content in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
- Coordinate with designers, marketers, legal, and product teams for content planning.
- Contribute to content calendars and marketing strategy discussions.
Qualifications:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in content writing, with exposure to web content, SEO, branding, and social media.
- Experience writing Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies is a strong advantage.
- Portfolio or writing samples required.
Key Skills:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and digital content strategy.
- Ability to translate technical, legal, or abstract concepts into reader-friendly content.
- Familiarity with social media trends, formats, and engagement techniques.
- Experience with CMS (e.g., WordPress), Google Analytics, SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs), and Grammarly.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
