The Content Writer is responsible for creating high-quality, original, and SEO-optimized content that aligns with client objectives and brand voice. The role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging digital content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write original, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, advertisements, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Understand client branding, tone of voice, and content goals to develop cohesive and effective messaging.
  • Conduct audience and competitor research, including keyword analysis, to support content strategy and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to incorporate best practices into all written materials.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammatical correctness, and consistency in tone and structure.
  • Update and repurpose existing content to maintain freshness, relevance, and improved engagement metrics.
  • Follow content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all assigned tasks and deliverables.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and digital teams to develop integrated campaigns.
  • Liaise with clients when required to understand project needs, gather feedback, and align content strategy.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports on content performance, analytics, and overall tasks.
  • Contribute innovative ideas, share creative input, and communicate effectively within the team and with the team lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in content writing or a similar digital marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital content trends.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt tone and style based on brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, or SurferSEO is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
