Content Writer

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality content in German for websites, blogs, landing pages, newsletters, and social media
• Conduct topic and keyword research to support content strategy and SEO goals
• Edit, proofread, and optimize content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams
• Develop creative ideas and concepts for campaigns and editorial calendars
• Maintain a consistent brand tone and style across all communication channels
• Analyze content performance and suggest improvements

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in German (C1/C2)
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
• Experience working with CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Typo3, Webflow)
• Ability to research, simplify complex topics, and write for different audiences
• High attention to detail, creativity, and strong time-management skills
• Previous experience as a content writer, editor, copywriter, or related role preferred

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media trends
• Basic knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console)
• Experience writing for specific industries (e.g., Tech, SaaS, Finance, Healthcare, E-commerce)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
