Content Writer

We are looking for a skilled and creative Content Writer to join our in-house team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong flair for writing and a particular interest or background in home décor and lifestyle content.

You will be working under the guidance of a Team Lead, contributing to a variety of content projects while also handling tasks independently. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment, but must be confident in managing your own workload and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality written content including blog articles, product descriptions, website copy, and social media posts
• Carry out research on industry-related topics, with a focus on home décor trends and design tips
• Write in a clear, engaging, and on-brand tone, tailored to our target audience
• Implement SEO best practices and optimise content for search engines
• Collaborate closely with the Team Lead, designers, and marketing team
• Edit and proofread your own and others’ work to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery

Requirements:

• Strong writing and editing skills in British English
• Prior experience in home décor, interiors, or lifestyle content is highly preferred
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
• Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and tone of voice
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Desirable:

• 2-4 years of Experience
• Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Understanding of digital marketing and online content strategy
• Comfortable using content planning tools or analytics platforms
