Medical Billing Content Writer (US Healthcare)

Location: Onsite - Lahore

Shift: 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM (US Timings)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Salary Range: PKR 80,000 - 150,000 (Based on Experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billing Content Writer to join our onsite team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate, engaging, and informative content related to the US healthcare and medical billing industry. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of medical billing processes, terminology, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality content on medical billing, coding, and US healthcare systems
• Write blogs, articles, website content, SOPs, and training materials
• Simplify complex billing concepts into easy-to-understand content
• Ensure accuracy in topics such as ICD-10, CPT codes, HCPCS, and insurance workflows
• Conduct research and implement SEO best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams including billing specialists and marketing
• Stay updated with US healthcare regulations and billing updates
• Proofread and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, English, Journalism, or a related field
• 1–3+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare content writing
• Strong understanding of:
• Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
• Insurance claims, denials, and reimbursements
• Basic HIPAA compliance
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Medical Billing/Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS)
• Experience working with US-based healthcare clients
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems
• Knowledge of SEO tools and content strategies
