Cargo Insights: hƩps://cargoinsights.co/ | CargoNXT: hƩps://cargonxt.co/ Role Overview: We are looking for an Jr. / Assistant Editor to support the editorial leadership of Cargo Insights and CargoNXT. This role will focus on content development, research, ediƟng, and execuƟon across our monthly magazine and event plaƞorms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, comfortable with AI-enabled workflows, and proacƟve in ensuring tasks get done. Key ResponsibiliƟes:  Support the Editor in managing editorial calendars for Cargo Insights (magazine) and CargoNXT (event content).  Research and draŌ arƟcles, interviews, features, and industry updates.  Assist in curaƟng discussion topics, speaker notes, and event collateral for CargoNXT conferences.  Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.  Work closely with contributors, freelancers, and industry stakeholders to gather material.  Coordinate with design, markeƟng, and operaƟons teams to ensure Ɵmely publishing and delivery.  Use AI tools for research, draŌing, and content opƟmizaƟon while maintaining editorial standards.  Ensure deadlines are met and tasks are executed efficiently with minimal follow-up.  Represent the publicaƟon/event in industry interacƟons when required. Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass CommunicaƟon, English, or related field.  2–5 years of editorial experience in publishing, business media, or events.  Strong wriƟng and ediƟng skills with aƩenƟon to detail.  Understanding of logisƟcs, supply chain, or trade industry is a plus.  Comfort with AI-driven tools for content research, ediƟng, and producƟvity.  Proven ability to get work done organized, reliable, and proacƟve in meeƟng commitments.  Strong communicaƟon and coordinaƟon skills to work across teams.  Familiarity with publishing plaƞorms, MS Office, and digital content workflows.
