Content Writer and Social Media

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer & Social Media Manager to join our team in Kolkata. This is an in-office role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly handle content creation across web, social platforms, and brand communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Copy writing & Content Creation:
• Write engaging and grammatically accurate copy for websites, social media, blogs, emailers, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to develop content aligned with brand tone and voice.
• Reel Scripting & Short-Form Video Ideations:
• Create compelling scripts and concepts for Instagram Reels and other short-form content.
• Work closely with videographer/editors and on-screen talent to bring ideas to life.
• Website Content:
• Draft and maintain SEO-optimized content for landing pages, service pages, blogs, and more.
• Ensure web content is updated regularly and aligned with user experience best practices.
• Social Media Management:
• Plan, schedule, and post across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.).
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and optimize posting strategies.
• Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience in content writing and social media management (agency or brand side).
• Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and platform best practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of SEO, Canva, and scheduling tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite is a plus.
• Creativity, a collaborative mindset, and a strong sense of ownership.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with performance marketing content or ad copywriting.
• Understanding of brand storytelling and audience engagement technique
• Basic editing tool like Canva.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
