Content Writer and Social Media Manager

Role Overview

As a Content Writer, you will craft stories, ideas, and narratives that capture attention and hold it. From articles and blogs to social media content and campaign copy, your writing will help shape how people experience our brands. If you also understand how content can influence customer decisions and support brand growth, that will be a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging and original content for blogs, websites, social media, emailers, and marketing materials.
• Create content that is informative, entertaining, and relatable, ensuring it resonates with the target audience.
• Develop fresh ideas that align with brand personality and connect with modern consumers.
• Support campaigns and storytelling initiatives, ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Stay updated on trends, culture, and consumer interests to bring new perspectives into content.
• Edit and proofread to maintain quality, clarity, and brand tone.
• (Plus point) Apply knowledge of marketing, consumer behavior, or persuasion techniques where relevant to make content more impactful.

Qualifications

• Excellent proficiency in English writing and communication.
• Malayalam writing ability will be an added advantage.
• 2+ years of experience in content writing (internships/freelance considered if strong portfolio).
• Creative thinker with the ability to write across different formats and tones.
• Awareness of digital platforms and content trends.
• (Plus point) Exposure to marketing principles, branding, or customer engagement methods.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing in industries such as beauty, FMCG, lifestyle, e-commerce, or wellness.
• Understanding of SEO basics and digital content visibility.
• Ability to adapt content for social media, campaigns, and storytelling.
• Familiarity with tools like Canva is a bonus.
