Content Writer / Editor (Onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Content Editor to join our dynamic content team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong editorial skills, and a passion for producing high-quality, engaging content across multiple platforms. You will lead the content editing process, ensure consistency and brand alignment, and mentor junior editors and writers.

• Responsibilities:
• Review, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, style, tone, and consistency across all platforms (websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, print, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with content writers, designers, and marketing teams to develop compelling and original content.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, SEO best practices, and audience preferences.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high editorial standards.
• Mentor and provide feedback to junior editors and writers to improve their skills and output.
• Develop and maintain editorial calendars to organize content production and publication schedules.
• Stay updated on industry trends, content marketing innovations, and editorial tools.
• Work with analytics teams to evaluate content performance and recommend improvements.
• Assist in content strategy development and execution
• Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in content editing, preferably in a senior role.
• Experience with editing blog posts and landing pages is a must.
• Exceptional command of the English language, with strong grammar, punctuation, and style skills.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with editorial tools (Grammarly, Hemingway, Google Docs, Ahref or Semrush etc.).
• Knowledge of AP Style or Chicago Manual of Style is a plus.
• Experience in a specific industry (tech, finance, healthcare, etc.) relevant to the company.
• A plus if you have basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Experience with multimedia content editing (video, podcasts)
