Content writer ( English)

Wishes and Blessings is a registered NGO working across multiple causes including education, nutrition, healthcare, skill development, and care for the elderly and homeless. Since inception, we have been committed to bridging the gap between the fortunate and the less fortunate.

We are looking for a passionate and creative Content Writer to join our communications team. The candidate will be responsible for creating compelling, meaningful, and impactful content that highlights our work, strengthens donor relations, and enhances our digital and offline presence.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development:

Write, edit, and proofread content for the NGO’s website, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and reports.

Create engaging and emotional storytelling pieces highlighting beneficiaries, impact stories, and events.

Draft donor communication material – proposals, thank you letters, impact reports, and campaigns.

Social Media & Digital:

Generate content for social media posts, reels, and stories in alignment with campaigns.

Assist in managing the NGO’s social media presence with engaging captions, storytelling posts, and campaigns.

Support in creating content calendars in collaboration with the communications team.

Fundraising & CSR Support:

Draft CSR proposals, presentations, and project reports.

Support in content creation for events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns.

Other:

Conduct research on trends in the NGO/social sector to develop relevant and timely content.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.

1–2 years of professional writing experience (preferably in NGOs, media, or communications).

Excellent command over English (both written and spoken).

Strong storytelling skills and ability to write across formats (creative, emotional, technical).

Familiarity with social media content writing and digital marketing trends.

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A passion for social causes and empathy towards vulnerable communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
