Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct product descriptions, category content, and landing pages.
- Develop SEO-optimized content to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create engaging copy for social media posts, email campaigns, and advertisements.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content platforms.
- Research products, industry trends, and competitors to produce accurate and relevant content.
- Proofread, edit, and update existing content to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the e-commerce team to improve conversion rates through persuasive content.
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing best practices.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or E-commerce Writer.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and writing style.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization tools.
- Ability to write content tailored for different audiences and platforms.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress, Magento) is a plus.
- Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
- Portfolio of published content, preferably in the e-commerce or retail sector.
Preferred Skills
- · Experience with product marketing and conversion-focused writing.
- · Basic understanding of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) to complement written content.
