Content Writer Team Lead

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Content Writer Team Lead to manage and guide our content team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to mentor writers. This role focuses on original, human-written content only (no AI-generated content) and ensures high-quality, engaging, and accurate writing across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers.
• Review, edit, and improve team members’ content for clarity, tone, grammar, and style.
• Develop content guidelines and maintain writing standards.
• Collaborate with marketing, SEO, and design teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice and strategy.
• Plan content calendars and allocate assignments based on team strengths.
• Ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Provide constructive feedback and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends to keep content relevant and engaging.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a content writer with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent voice across multiple writers.
• Ability to guide and motivate a team of writers.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred:

• Portfolio of original content (blogs, articles, copywriting, etc.).
• Experience in a content-driven or marketing agency environment.
