CONTENT/WEB STRATEGIST

We are looking for a Web & Content Strategist to lead the growth and strategic evolution of our diverse multi-site ecosystem. The perfect fit for this role combines a high-level technical mastery of SEO and Local SEO with the analytical chops to turn data into high-impact content roadmaps. You will serve as the strategic compass for our content teams, dictating what is built based on evolving search patterns, user analytics, and the latest tech trends.

Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Oversight: Direct the overarching strategy for a vast portfolio of sites, maintaining high performance and brand integrity across various digital touchpoints.
• Search Engine Leadership: Architect and execute sophisticated SEO and Local SEO frameworks to capture organic traffic. Navigate the complexities of localized search across different markets and sectors.
• Content Architecture: Leverage search data to guide the creative production team with authoritative recommendations. Spot untapped opportunities and content voids that meet specific user needs.
• Analytics Integrity: Supervise tracking protocols to maintain data accuracy, ensuring all insights are reliable for decision-making.
• Interdepartmental Synergy: Serve as the primary liaison between technical SEO, design, and editorial teams to guarantee that every site update satisfies both algorithms and end-users.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

• Enterprise Background: A demonstrated history of driving results for high-traffic, large-scale web properties.
• Multi-Property Management: Ability to balance the strategic needs of several distinct websites simultaneously, showcasing the agility and organization needed to switch between varied business objectives.
• Future-Focused Mindset: A natural curiosity for the changing digital landscape, particularly regarding how AI influences search habits and streamlines team efficiency.

Preferred Tools & Qualifications

• Search Platforms: Mastery of industry-standard tools like SEMrush, BrightEdge, and MozLocal.
• User-Centric Design: A solid grasp of UX/UI fundamentals to ensure all strategic pivots enhance the visitor experience.

Nice to Have:

• CMS Expertise: Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Remote flex in Houston, TX.
