We are searching for an experienced Continuous Improvement Analyst to focus on enhancing business operations by facilitating the identification of inefficiencies and implementation of process improvements using Lean methodologies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operations and other departments in the development, production, and evolution of regular performance reports to improve awareness and management of key indicators and sustainment of ongoing process changes.
- Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to execute changes that lead to measurable enhancements in operations.
- Improve the data-gathering process to enhance communication and performance reporting.
- Act as “super user” of data gathering tools at Miller Pipeline, including the in-house WINS system, Formstack, Monday.com, PowerBI, Fleetio, and Predictive Solutions.
- Develop and use work aids such as process flow charts, checklists, templates, and guides to assist Miller Pipeline associates in implementing defined processes.
- Capture, document and share best practices; transfer data across the region; enable and encourage stakeholders across the region to adopt best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices.
- Communicate progress, roadblocks and achievements with all stakeholders.
- Proactively encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with customers on productivity improvement initiatives.
- Travel to customer and field facilities to support operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited university; in business, construction management, accounting, finance, economics, or related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years professional work experience as business analyst, quality, or similar role, with some exposure to continuous improvement concepts and principles.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, as well as analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Research, including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional follow through, oral & written communication; express complex technical concepts in terms understandable by all company departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, specifically, Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently or with a team. Enjoy working with others to achieve a common goal. Build relationships in cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrate and promote ethical behavior through establishing and adhering to policies, procedures, and professional standards of conduct.
- Customer-oriented decision making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, engineering, or construction management related field.
- 2+ years in the construction or energy industry, lean certification.
- Experience using Sharepoint, Formstack, Monday.com, and PowerBi.
