Summary:
We’re seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement Lead to drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing principles. This role is key in identifying opportunities to eliminate waste, improve processes, and enhance productivity across the production floor. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills, capable of fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate continuous improvement (CI) activities across Operations, Engineering, and Quality.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System methodologies to optimize performance.
• Analyze and track improvement initiatives, ensuring measurable impact on KPIs such as quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Coach, train, and mentor team members and supervisors in Lean and problem-solving tools.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership to develop strategies that enhance production processes and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, USDA, FDA, and SQF standards.
• Support operators and teams in standardizing and improving operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; higher education or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in process improvement or manufacturing (food industry experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Toyota Production System.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on results and collaboration.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This position involves both office and production floor environments, with regular exposure to temperature variations, noise, and other typical manufacturing conditions. Light to medium physical activity may be required.
