Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing Engineer

For our site in Esenyurt, Istanbul we are looking for you as Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing Enginee r

These challenges await you:

• Conduct detailed time studies (stopwatch studies, video analysis, work sampling) in assembly and pipe manufacturing lines

• Analyze cycle time (CT), takt time, OEE, labor efficiency, and capacity utilization

• Identify operational waste using the Muda framework and implement corrective actions

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen workshops and rapid improvement events

• Perform line balancing and manpower optimization studies

• Develop and maintain Standard Work documentation

• Optimize plant layout and material flow

• Ensure sustainability of 5S implementation

• Conduct root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.)

• Lead improvement projects using Six Sigma DMAIC methodology

• Quantify and report improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and productivity metrics

• Support digital performance tracking and data-driven decision making initiatives

You inspire with us that:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in assembly and/or pipe manufacturing environments

• Experience in structured time study methodologies (MTM or REFA certification is a plus)

• Proven experience in line balancing and capacity planning

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred

• Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (VSM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, etc.)

• Ability to read technical drawings and analyze process flows

• Experience with ERP and manufacturing execution systems

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

• Strong analytical mindset with hands-on shop floor approach
